In Greek mythology, Erato (Ἐρατώ, lit. 'lovely') is the Olympian Muse of literature, love poetry, science, and the arts; the Nine Muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, figuring as personifications of knowledge and the arts.
The main colours in this artwork are lively variations of all kind of dark and light reds, representing romance, passion, tenderness, and the beating heart and thus life itself.
