The AWAKENING is a beautiful story of my adventure and my first ever solo trip to MYANMAR. I think this trip had awaken something in me,
Something that I was looking for years. I was lost, depressed and was looking out a way to communicate to people and to the world through my passion (photography). I never looked back after this very moment, I was more inclined to travel the world, find stories and experiences and share it with the world through my CAMERA.
I always wanted to visit BAGAN ( Myanmar). So in 2015 I took the solo trip to south east Asia covering 2 countries at a time Thailand, Myanmar.
It wasn’t easy for me as I was very immature, afraid and unaware of world but what scared you the most sometime turned out to be the most beautiful or memorable moment of your life. I felt the same on my Myanmar trip, I met people and amazing souls that changed or inspired my life towards life, dreams, passion and perspective. I was feeling alive, far from depression and photography became that tool to achieve those dreams and happiness.
It took me 3 days to find this spot from where I could live my dream photo as I used to watch on other people profiles. I wanted to capture the essence of nature, colors and happy moment but I didn’t know that the very same moment would awake the sense of love, connection, Peace in me. After 3 days of looking, I found one temple roof and planned to shoot from there. I woke up 3:30 am and drove my scooter in dark night and reached to the temple. I climbed to the top and waited for the right moment of the nature vista, beauty and magic. I remember how happy I was to be so close to my dream. That very moment imprinted on my mind and soul so deeply that every time I see the photos it just teleports me to the same place and to the same moment.
So, the whole purpose of this “ AWAKENING” is to teleport you all to the moment of passion, dream which awoke the sense of love, happiness and peace like it did for me. I want you to feel it and see it deeply so that it awakes the same senses in you too. This piece is story of one boy who just wanted to live his dream, went on an exploration without any knowledge and with many fears but came back as mature, fearless and peaceful man. So, I want to transfer those positivity, feelings and emotions through this special ART to you all.
