Description
Bongo the clown was once heralded as a national treasure as a regular guest on a 70’s BBC broadcast called ‘Charltan’s Magic Attic’ where Bongo would have a five minute slot performing magic tricks and telling jokes. Following an incident in ‘76 Bongo was hospitalised due to a surplus of handkerchiefs blocking his airways, resulting in him passing out on air. He was soon replaced on the show by Uri Geller.
