Description
This is a free template for everyone to use and start with regarding digital fabric creation and rendering. It can be pretty daunting for a newbie to set this kind of scene up from scratch. There are multiple software involved, and often is the step-by-step tutorial that YOU would not need on YouTube. After seeing so many kind comments on one of my Instagram posts, I couldn't resist setting this up for you.
Here is what the zip file contains:
// zprj (MD or Clo3D) file of the simulated fabric
// obj file of the simulated fabric
// blend file with the entire setup and branded carton folder
// sbs (Substance Designer) file of a basic pink woven fabric
// sbsar (Substance Sampler, works in MD and Clo3D) file of the basic pink woven fabric
// png exports of all fabric texture maps
Enjoy, have fun and tag me so I can see what amazing digital fabrics you are coming up with!
PS: The example rendering is jut an example on how the fabric template can look like. This specific one contains a beautiful pattern designed by print designer Kirsty Milloy: https://beacons.ai/kirstymilloy
(It is not included though in this package. The included fabric is a plain one that should encourage you to start experimenting with your own beautiful designs.)
