The year is 2123. The humans who uploaded their consciousness to the mainframe during the Scroll Wars and were sent off world by Royal Decree 8 years ago have made a home for themselves on Perion-5. This desert wasteland in the outer rim far from human interference was chosen as the perfect place for the silicon based hive mind to live out the rest of its eternal sentence. Some believe their existence to be an abomination and only a few stood up to protect them from being scrubbed off the face of the cosmos.
I'm not sure what I believe. Are they still human even after such alteration? What does it mean to be human? Am I this bag of flesh and bones or am I something more?
