People tend to forget that the Gothic style was born from the larger Romanticism movement. But Dracula was a charmer, wasn’t he? There is just something so alluring about the worlds she creates, and the conflicting elements she brings to the table are often as delicious as they are grotesque. A little bit of sweet, a little bit of salty. As a student of fashion design at SADI (Samsung art and design institute), perhaps ROWA understands that there is no beauty without pain, and there seems to be plenty of both woven deep within the fabric of her artwork, a mystery to unravel.
