The artwork is fully illustrated by hand in Photoshop CS6. It is inspired by giant mecha manga and anime of a bygone era when the world was overshadowed by the uncertainties of a cold war in which opposing sides got into an arms race to build the ultimate weapon that will eliminate the other (and ultimately the world, which thankfully did not happen).
