Description
Frozen world is a story of frozen lake in the Himalayas " TSOMORIR"
at 4522m. In winter lake freeze out completely. I always wanted to go there and explore the frozen lakes of Himalayas. It wasn't easy task as temp went down to -25 degree and route to these lakes was very challenging also.
I went on a solo trio to Ladakh to explore these majestic mountains and frozen world. It was really hectic and dissppointed start as weather went to shit. I had full hopes that i would get one dream shot or clear shot in upcoming days. So, i continued my journey and reached to this lake on the 7th day of my tour. It was really cold and hard to go out and shoot.
First day washed out by bad weather but next day light showed up and i was extremely happy to click this amazing beauty. What i love about this shot is the broken pieces of ice rocks and how the light were reflecting on the rocks.
