Rainbow Mosho is a teen, a Tennessean artist and entrepreneur on the Autism spectrum. Named Thomais at birth, her love of color and fun resulted in her artistic persona of “Rainbow Mosho”.
In a recent interview, Rainbow's mother, Yadira commented that ‘art has been a tool to survive, to communicate and to feel human… art was a natural in Rainbow’s life but since March 2020, art has become the way to exist.’
Rainbows art powerfully expresses her understanding of human emotion in vibrant colors and whimsical drawings.
The Laughing Otter is excited to have Rainbow contribute to Toast 4 Peace, a global anti-war initiative raising money and awareness for people affected by violent conflict.
Money raised from Rainbow's collection will go to support pregnant women in Haiti that cannot get the proper medical treatment during childbirth as a result of the ongoing fighting. This is an cause that Rainbow is passionate about and her art clearly reflects this.
