Welcome to "Between Reality and the Imaginary," a collection where the familiar meets the extraordinary through the lens of AI surreal photography/synthography.
As a Mexican-born, now U.S.-based graphic designer, my passion for surrealism and photography has its roots in my childhood. I fondly recall the captivating sights and scenes of my homeland, captured through my ever-present camera.
"El Vicio" tells a story about losing friends and family to a harmful addiction. In this artwork, you see men having conversations with skeletons in a graveyard, surrounded by bottles of liquor. It makes you reflect on the devastating impact of addiction and how it can take loved ones away from us.
