Description
CRASH AND BURN (0001) is a multimedia digital work by American Artist Charles Kennedy (b. 1977), blending elements of pop, punk, and street through abstract typography, asemic writing, and graffiti combined with found images. Kennedy’s work illuminates the transient and entropic nature of human existence, juxtaposing high culture with lowbrow expression. The sardonic, nihilist titles of each work challenge us to question ourselves, the world around us, and our place within it.
PROCESS: Magazine ad distressed then photographed on iPhone and imported to Procreate on iPad for painting and manipulation. No AI was used in the creation of this artwork.
