AS WE REGRESS (0007) is a multimedia digital work by American Artist Charles Kennedy (b. 1977), blending elements of pop, punk, and street through abstract typography, asemic writing, and graffiti. Kennedy’s work illuminates the transient and entropic nature of human existence, juxtaposing high culture with lowbrow expression. The sardonic, nihilist titles of each work often draw attention to issues of society and our future,- challenging us to question ourselves, the world around us, and our place within it.
