Description
we are all struggling in our youth and going through several changes. destroying oneself and rediscovering an essence in the process. trying to find a way, passion, and means to live and survive. to all the young ones still trying to figure out who they are, to everyone going through this phase of life— so much pain. embracing the fun of it, ironically. I do hope you remain brave enough to keep going. Because just like the boy who lost his face, the stinging angst of questioning one’s sense of self can gradually eat into your time, eat into your future, eat into your peace. and you shall be left without a face, without the knowledge of who you truly are.
“The Boy Who Lost His Face,” 2024. charcoal and acrylic on 2 by 4ft canvas.
