Description
Clover point is one of my favourite places to come for sunsets and a beach walk. You really feel like you’re standing at the end of the world as the ocean stretches out for miles around you.
It was called clover point because of the abundance of red clover that grows here. Fisherman used to build boathouse’s along the rocks up until a massive storm in the late 1930’s destroyed them all. The city decided it was safe to build a harbour further down the inlet to protect the boats.
It has this really cool loop to drive around when you’re here and there’s always a good chance you’ll spot a sweet classic car out here for a picnic.
