Description
My identity as a woman and the relationship between wanting to be seen and wanting to hide is a complex one. The layers of generational conditioning, societal expectations and the fight for wanting an equal voice is an ongoing one. There are the many roles i play as a woman: mother, wife, daughter, entrepreneur, deeply thinking artist, they overlap, they cross paths, they collide and create different channels of expressions in my work. The woman I am today is as complex and nuanced as ever before, constantly inventing and reinventing herself, rising from challenges and obliterating all that hinders her progress.
