In a unique collaboration between Italian musicians Alberto Nemo and Whale, along with Iranian multimedia artist Denyz, the convergence of movement, sound, and color takes center stage. This is the first act inside a serie of four pieces.
Tragically, on September 16, 2022, Mahsa Amini lost her life in Iran for the simple act of not wearing her headscarf properly. Her hair became a symbol of defiance and ultimately cost her life. A year later, the spirit of revolution still burns brightly in Iran. Women are not only fighting for their rights but also showcasing the incredible power of their intellect. Without these women, our world would be adrift in darkness.
We pay homage to their unyielding efforts through our art, for art devoid of purpose is destined to fade into obscurity.
As we mark the 23rd birthday Mahsa was denied due to her tragic murder (her birthday would have been 5 days after her death), we remember her life with 23 editions of our art piece.
