Marvin Gaye was chosen as a subject because of my connection to him as a creative man, and a sometimes troubled man. Understanding that regardless of how great the gift, the opposite side of it are the trials, troubles and tribulations that come with trying to share the gift.
Like Marvin, many of us are (imperfect, troubled) angels God sent to inspire the world. And even through the times of our own troubles and personal struggles, that inspiration must persevere.
