Description
The Circle of Abstract Ritual project allowed me to peer into the unknowable.
I plunged into the void with open eyes, captured 300,000 photos of wildfires, riots, stars, and made paintings in abandoned houses.
I discovered that the mechanics of ritual could be activated through an act of creativity, starting from scratch. No belief. No dogma. Just radical acceptance.
This work is derived, expanded, and remastered from the long-form video art film Circle of Abstract Ritual.
