Description
My childhood was difficult and fractured, I never had a "home" in the traditional sense, but that's a story for another time.
Home was something I deeply wanted, a safe place that was mine. As I got older, and the circumstances of my youth showing their impacts on my chances and opportunities as an adult, combined with the difficulties of stability with no family to lean on, Home was always something promised that I could never reach. As time has gone on, it continues to be more clear to me, that this is just a an illusion that carries all my hopes and dreams.
'The Home is a Mirage' was made with a fusion of the artists original ai/-ai artworks fed into Midjourney and combined with prompts to control artistic direction, curated works are then then modified in photoshop on tablet by collage, composite, and overpainting.
This collection combines a blend of still life, figurative, landscape, and abstract, digital painting, enhanced and/or concepted with ai, and polished with shapes and forms that accentuate its organic charm as visual reference for physical work.
Of Note:
• This is the only 1/1 NFT digital draft of 'The Home is a Mirage'.
• 'The Home is a Mirage' will also be available separately as a physical original acrylic painting on canvas (no nft included)
• All digital draft visual reference artworks minted as 1/1 nfts fund the making of their physical counterparts.
