I collected Amethyst early on as a kid. I intrinsically felt that purple crystal was nurturing and safe.
This honors a few mentors I had in varying stages of my life. Each surrounding the times I was obsessed with Amethyst.
Two of my favorite skaters Chad Muska and Lance Mountain inspired me to cultivate style while learning technical art forms.
Gargoyles and Darkwing Duck showed me two vastly different styles of animation and storytelling, training my eye to learn varying techniques.
The very first computer game I ever played, Commander Keen on DOS. This was my first deep dive in gaming, and lead me to want to create my own later in life. And now I make games fulltime !
I am honored to have had my mentors and inspirations so far, human and cartoon, crystal and ethereal. They’ve helped me through very rough times, and inspired me to see the world through an ever changing lens.
