Description
"Ode To Those We Met Along The Way" is a piece of original poetry, inspired by all of the real life connections that I made with friends while in Miami for Art Basel in 2022 - repurposed and represented to new friends which I connected with in Miami for Art Basel in 2023. I wanted to share to everyone that I met how special I felt all these connections are & should be to all of us; and the best way I felt I had to express that was through my art.
This piece utilized the digitally handwritten Ode piece from Art Basel 2022 by Kevin DeAngelis added on top of a photo captured of RHAUS Miami using my iPad from the driveway. Captured Thursday 12/7/23 ~12:00 pm.
The 1/1 Photograph (as well as the corresponding IP rights to the photo) minted to my "Degen Photography" Collection was given away via a random draw on May 21st, 2023 to one of the collectors as a small act of performance art & social experiment.
