Description
Turtledee of Ho’okipa Beach from the North Shore of Maui, once taught the Picaroons how to use Alaea sea salt to preserve their food for long voyages. Bontemps of Madagascar tattooed the Picaroon flag on their port scute as thanks. Part of the Testudines Order of reptiles, they are fond of telling everyone, “Not all Turtles are Tortoises” as they swim the seven seas searching for their long-lost twin Turtledum. They enjoy snacking between meals on large smacks of Carybdea alata jellyfish. Turtledee is amazed at how quickly paint dries and simply astonished at how fast Common Bamboo (B.vulgaris) grows above the tide mark on the beach.
