Description
After successfully building and powering on hundreds of Protors, The Foreman was confident that the newly built Protor Horse, modeled after an earth animal would come online without a problem. He was thrilled to bring it online and thrilled to welcome it into the world of Gineeren as the latest and greatest marvel of technological advancement gineeren had ever seen. Every circuit, every part, every wire, every hydraulic, every single particle had been meticulously put into place. He rwn simulations for months with kinetic simulators, projection optics, and every other tool on Gineeren that he could muster. It was time to set the service goal counter to 1, and watch the eyes of the first Gineeren Protor Horse awaken. With the turn of its last component, and the click of its locks falling into place, the low hum of the newly designed horse protor motor engine began to whir up, growing in intensity. He rushed to the front of the large body to watch as the lights in its optics began to illuminate. It was a moment he never missed at the completion of any if his works. Brighter and brighter they grew. Yet wider this time. Increasing in intensity and almost bulging out of the optics socket. The motor unexpectedly began whirring up and down, and the horse began shaking and rattling with an utter look of panic across its face. Suddenly it sprang from its shaking, exploding into motion. It collided with The foreman, sending him flying backwards, then began galloping across the workshop, sending tables and parts atop them streaming across the large room. As the foreman lay there helpless, hia back firmly on the ground he was onky able to turn his head and watch as the Protor Horse A thrashed into every wall, into every tool box, destroying everything in it except for his desk. As it met its last wall, it came barelling towards The Foreman. As he braced for the impact and extensive damage he was about to endure the horse A's legs suddenly gave out, and its heads plowee into the workshop floor as it slid its way it a hail of sparks barely touching The Foreman with enough force to set him sideways, and out of his inescapable turtle back position. As he came to his feet and approached the still shaking horse, he watched as its service goal shot faster and faster with increasing speed before hitting 100. For a moment he expected to see a service goal being reached for the first time. Yet still the horse lay there, twitching and shaking, still with the look of panic on its face. Far past when it should have shut down. He knelt down beside, placing his hand over its eyes, and removed the exposed fuse near its shoulder. All was not lost, and Model A would provide many reusable parts for future models. A far cry from a complete success, nevertheless a successful test run.
