Description
After studying Bosch and Bruegel's paintings I embarked on a captivating journey into the realm of abstract landscapes. These paintings have been a revelation to me, inspired by my deep fascination with Chaos Theory, the Unknown Galaxies, and the possibility of life in outer space. In my artistic pursuit, I aimed to envision how life and "nature" might manifest in a distant galaxy or constellation, where everything is different to our familiar world.
These abstract landscapes are a unique amalgamation of hues that challenge our perception, drawn from a complex and intricate palette.
Color, in particular, has been a central focus of my artistic exploration. It presents a challenge in harmoniously combining a multitude of shades and making them work together seamlessly.
I believe that colors encapsulate the full spectrum of human emotions. Each hue can be linked to a particular mood, and when we incorporate a diverse range of colors in a painting, we essentially unite the diverse tapestry of our emotions.
The balance of colors is akin to managing our feelings, influencing our actions and emotions in an intricate manner and allows us to experience joy without ignoring the complex interplay of our emotions.
Within the same painting we can find a harmonious coexistence of joy, melancholy, even moments of frustration or anger.
This perspective on the world and its inhabitants is what drives my creative spirit. My goal is to impart a sense of joy, encourage introspection, and evoke a profound sense of calm.
I firmly believe that to understand the beauty of joy, we must first explore and embrace the full spectrum of human emotions and moods. In this regard, colors function as a powerful metaphor for the human experience, offering a canvas where our complex emotions can be both explored and celebrated.
