Description
Agha Mohammad Khan Qajar was born during the conflict between the branches of the Qajar tribe. At the age of six, he was captured and became a hostage under the rule of Adel Shah, which is why he is called "Agha". Agha Mohammad Khan stayed in Shiraz for 20 years until the death of Karim Khan. Then, with the help of Khadijeh Begum, his aunt who was Karim Khan's wife, he escaped from Shiraz and reached Mazandaran. He was able to establish unity among the branches of the Qajar tribe and quickly gained control over the entire northern Iran.
He was very bloodthirsty and tyrannical, blinding his enemies.
