Name
Emanuele Dascanio 1/1 Phygital AR
Description
The multimedia NFT 1/1 artwork entitled "Resurrectio Aurea" by the artist Emanuele Dascanio is conceived as an independent and autonomous work of art, but at the same time it was designed to harmoniously integrate with the physical artwork "Waiting For Those Days ".
The latter is a hyper-realistic pastel drawing on cardboard, dimensions 40 x 56 cm, created in 2017 and representing a preparatory study for the physical artwork "Depositio Maddalenae". This integration translates into an impressive phygital artwork.
Continuing the in-depth analysis relating to moral judgement, Dascanio's work of art, entitled "Depositio Maddalenae", transfigures the graphite and coal dust into an artistic expression which in "Resurrectio Aurea" takes a lateral but intrinsic path, transmuting a sequence of 0s and 1s in a work of art comparable to gold. This transmutation appears evident when experienced in augmented reality, when the NFT emerges from the surface of the pastel "Waiting For Those Days".
This transformation highlights the presence of intrinsic values, often hidden behind preconceptions, heuristics and cognitive distortions, which acquire shared meaning when they are adequately identified and interpreted.
With "Resurrectio Aurea", the artist celebrates his distinctive mindset, characterized by a holistic and emergent perspective that aims to integrate into a single context a network of works, concepts and elements, whose overall value exceeds the sum of the parts.
