Description
In the midst of San Diego's "June Gloom", we wandered around the beach. Though I've taken this shot (from under a pier) a dozen times before, this was my first try on film. I felt the gray tones of the sky, water and pier would look amazing with the slight grain of an analog shot.
It wasn't until I got home and had the film developed that I noticed that my camera had a light leak. Though it detracts from many of the shots, in this instance, I felt it enhanced it. I love the slight jolt of color and the reminder that there is no such thing as the perfect shot.
