Digital painting. Living in rural Pennsylvania surrounded by rapidly growing urban sprawl, I love being on the edge of both realms, moving back and forth between darkness and light, solitude and interaction, the traditional and progressive. In a way the work is also a metaphor for my artistic journey and process, straddling digital/physical, classical/contemporary, control/chaos the mysterious and the illuminated.
