In creating the Chronosynthesis series, I reverted to the first AI model I began using in 2021. Through the altering of the genetic makeup of commonplace scenes, a series of uncanny images that challenge our perception of the familiar emerge. This deconstruction and reassembling of the mundane unearths hidden layers, patterns and unexpected beauty in general life, shifting the ordinary to the unexpected.
