“Deep Friends and Wild Findings” is an AI video collaboration between Dissociative Dreams and Niceaunties. Both being fans of each other's work, they created and experimented with AI images exploring themes of friendship, playfulness, connection, disconnection and empowerment. Aunties and creatures cling, dance and morph to the voiceover by Jess Maccormack (Dissociative Dreams) and soundscape by Niceaunties. The video editing by Niceaunties forms the narrative, and transitions midway to an uplifting tone and quicker dance moves.
This video was made in Midjourney through blending images by both artists, then animated in RunwayML." Written by both of us.
