Sunset Blvd LA 1992
One of my first shoots after moving to LA. It was the year Madonna's Sex book was causing a stir. Shot in an abandoned estate my friend was squatting in (no rent/no power) overlooking Sunset Blvd, near The Mondrian Hotel.
I chose this image from my archive in response to recent discussions about censorship. If this image makes you uncomfortable, would a woman in the same setting and pose? if your answer is no, thats not on me.
My desired goal is another point of view. Not about making anyone uncomfortable, but not afraid to either.
